COVID-19 Update:  The 2020 Juneteenth Rock Hill multi-day celebration is cancelled; however, a Juneteenth commemoration will be observed virtually on June 19, 2020.

Our community, nation and world continue to adhere to and make necessary changes as we navigate our way through the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal at this unprecedented time is to focus on the health and safety of individuals in our Rock Hill communities and all over the world. Taking into careful consideration the guidelines and recommendations by the CDC, city leaders, and government officials, the Juneteenth Rock Hill Board has made the difficult decision to cancel all 2020 Juneteenth physical events that were scheduled for June 19-20. We will proceed, however, with the annual newsletter, the coloring contest, and the scholarship award.

The Juneteenth Rock Hill Board members are working diligently to plan a virtual commemoration to be held on June 19, 2020.

Our committee would like to thank the City of Rock Hill for their continuous support and thank the sponsors, vendors, and participants for their 2020 contributions.

We are excited about what is ahead of us and look forward to welcoming everyone to the Juneteenth Rock Hill Celebration 2021. In the meantime, we will see you virtually on June 19, 2020.
